Hello friends, as we are seeing, Hacking is increasing day by day. So today we will discuss about Hacking in this post and know who are the hackers. Are all hackers harmful to us? How many types of hackers are there?

So, first we will know what is Hacking?

Hacking is an attempt to exploit a computer system or a private network inside a computer, or the tweaking of a software or a website in its root for making own benefits or other loss. 

Simply, it is unauthorized access to or control over computer network security systems for some illegal purpose.

Who are hackers?

According to a definition,

A Hacker is a computer expert who uses their technical knowledge to achieve a certain goal, or overcome a certain obstacle, within a computerized system.

In a simple language, a Hacker is a person who finds and exploits the weakness in computer systems and networks to gain access. Hackers are usually skilled computer programmers with knowledge of computer security.

Or a hacker can be someone who uses a computer system to take unauthorized access to another system for data.

Types of Hackers ?

Basically, there are three types of hackers. Some are good for society/ for us or some are bad hackers. These are:-

• Black Hat Hacker - Evil Doer
• White Hat Hacker - Savior
• Grey Hat Hacker - Both

Black Hat Hacker 

Black hats or crackers are hackers with malicious intentions. These types of hackers, he or she use their skills to steal money or data, kill computer systems, or even destroy them. Some of these hackers like to see names in their work and news, so they will try to target big name organizations and companies. And are usually motivated by personal gain. Their work is usually illegal.

White Hat Hacker

White hat hacker is one who is an ethical hacker. This type of hacker usually hacks for a company or organization for defensive purposes. They work to keep data safe from other hackers by finding system vulnerabilities that can be mitigated Also, give the company and organizations special abilities to control over the reach of other bad hackers. 

Grey Hat Hacker

Grey Hat Hacker is one who falls somewhere between the Black Hat Hacker and The White Hat Hacker. They may be good or Bad too. Typically, gray-hat hackers surf the net and hack into computer systems to inform the administrator or owner that their system / network has one or more vulnerabilities that must be corrected immediately. Grey Hat can also be hack, offered to fix the defect for a fee.
