Most Sensational News : PUBG Mobile banned in India along with 117 mobile applications



On Wednesday, India banned more than 100 mobile applications, including the most popular mobile gaming app PUBG Mobile & PUBG Mobile Lite, after banning 59 Chinese apps few months earlier this year. The apps were banned, citing data security concerns following the new controversy between India and China in the border region in eastern Ladakh.

In a statement, the government said it blocked 118 mobile apps, that are "prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, Defence of India, Security of State and Public Order".

The minister said, they had recieved many complaints from various sources and several reports that many Android and iOS apps misuse their permissions to the mobile phones as stealing & users personal data.    

So that, The India Cyber Crime Coordination Centre, under the Ministry of Home Affairs recommend for blocking those Android and iOS application. Also take strict action against these mobile applications that threaten India's sovereignty as well as the privacy of citizens. 

Here is the complete list of the 118 mobile apps that have been bannned on 2nd September.

Mandiant Discloses Critical Vulnerability Affecting Millions of IoT Devices

Today, Mandiant disclosed a critical risk vulnerability in coordination with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (“CISA”) that affects millions of IoT devices that use the ThroughTek “Kalay” network. This vulnerability, discovered by researchers on Mandiant’s Red Team in late 2020, would enable adversaries to remotely compromise victim IoT devices, resulting in the ability to listen to live audio, watch real time video data, and compromise device credentials for further attacks based on exposed device functionality. These further attacks could include actions that would allow an adversary to remotely control affected devices.
