The WhatsApp Group Invitation feature has now been spotted in the newest Android beta update after being spotted by WABetaInfo in the iOS beta platform. Once the feature is rolled out, other WhatsApp users will have to take your permission in order to add you in a WhatsApp group. While even group admins won’t be able to add someone without their permission, the WhatsApp feature is expected to roll out to iOS beta soon.

WhatsApp advanced search

We use the WhatsApp search feature almost every day in order to find any text message or a whole chat and as the name suggests, the WhatsApp Advanced Search feature will be an improved version of the existing option which will have filters such as photos, videos, documents, Gifs, Audio and Links. This WhatsApp feature was spotted on iOS beta version.

WhatsApp dark mode 

WhatsApp Dark Mode is definitely one of the most anticipated upcoming WhatsApp features and has been spotted in beta versions on several occasions. While the feature is expected to launch with a stable update soon, it is worth noting that the dark mode feature essentially changes the app background to black colour from white for less strain on eyes and to save battery life.

Show in chat 

Show In Chat’ option will appear in the list of operations whenever a user views a shared image in WhatsApp. With this option, WhatsApp users will get the ability to quickly jump to the chat where the image is visible. This feature will also help in finding out when the subjected image was shared for the first time.

WhatsApp Status feed

As reported by Mashable, WhatsApp is testing a new feature for the Status feed that will reportedly bring the WhatsApp Status of the contact you interact with the most on top of the list. Currently, WhatsApp Statuses are shown based on which contact has shared his or her status most recently
